ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Set up, repair, modify and maintain processes and packaging equipmentr
Troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration equipmentr
Perform preventative maintenance within a preventative maintenance program and maintain recordsr
Respond to equipment issues in a customer-oriented mannerr
Responsible for working safely, following safety policies and wearing required PPE
Other duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organizationr
EDUCATION & PREREQUISITES:

Millwright certificationr
Dual license (electrical, gas or refrigeration) would be preferredr
Successful completion of an accredited packaging or maintenance mechanic course is an assetr
Successful completion of a basic industrial electrical course is an assetr
Valid Class G licenser
QUALIFICATIONS:

Mechanical/ basic electrical knowledge is required
3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentr
Able to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematicsr
Basic computer skills using Microsoft Officer
Strong verbal and written communication skills are requiredr
Exceptional organizational and problem solving skillsr
Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, SOPs and safety procedures (LOTO)
Working knowledge of CMMS programsr
