“7 Simple Ways We Can Express Love and Save the World”

Everyone says, “What the World Needs Now is Love”.

But how can we put our love into practice in our daily lives?

1 - Get Up and Do It - When a simple thought comes to mind of helping someone… don’t brush it off… get up and do it… that is true love. Normally we just pretend those thoughts don’t come to mind… but that’s why we have the world we have today… action is the key.

2 - Help that Child in Need - Today make it a point to do something extraordinary for someone. Perhaps you know a child who didn’t get a Christmas present this year… now is the time to go to the store and set that right. It’s the little things we can do that make all the difference in the world.

3 - Help Your Elderly Neighbor - Perhaps there is an elderly woman or man in your neighborhood who is usually all alone during the holidays. Go over and take them a small gift or put a card in their mailbox, or better yet take them some baked goods and sit down and talk with them for a while.

4 - Express Gratitude - The people who pick up the garbage or clean the streets get paid but I’m sure that most people never express their gratitude to them for all that they do. It’s amazing what a little token of appreciation can do to brighten a soul. Even some cookies can make all the difference in the world.

5 - Remember to Call - Make it a point to call a good friend who you might not have talked too in a long time. Perhaps even send them a card in the mail and also call them and make it a long conversation…. make up for lost time.

6 - Make Your Neighbors Smile - Invite all the neighbors over for a lunch. That is what we do at our house. We also share what we cook with everyone else in the neighborhood and it brightens not only one soul… but two.

7 - Smile and Give - And one of my favorite things to do is to give a little something to someone who smiles. Make it a point to smile all the time… and if someone smiles back thank them, and if you see them again take them a little something as a gesture of love.

It’s the small things we do every single day that change the world.

Many Blessings to Everyone!
