As you might or might not be aware I’ve been having my website updated. It’s a much better site now and I’m really happy about it. It now gives you much more information, looks better, and even gives you contact details.
It was mostly finished by Friday. And I wanted to add some things to it. More detailed information about EFT (Tapping), NLP, Hypnosis and Theta-Healing – the amazing powerful processes I use with my clients to enable them to achieve whatever it is they want to. My clients are able to gain more confidence, get rid of procrastination, lose weight and keep it off, improve career, make more money, improve their relationships.
So you can see pretty exciting stuff.
And that’s when my problems started. There I was with all these good intentions, working away, writing lots of stuff to tell you about EFT (Tapping), NLP, Hypnosis and Theta-Healing, and how they can work for you. But I couldn’t somehow get them onto the website. Whatever I did, only made it worse.
At one stage I lost pages that were already on there. As you can imagine that made me panic. I did get them back thankfully.
But it got me to thinking – isn’t it best if we do what we’re good at and leave others to do what they’re good at? In other words, let’s outsource while we get on with what we do best.
Isn’t it worth paying whatever we need to, to get a job done while we continue to do what we do.
I spent so much time (and energy and effort) attempting to do the stuff with my website, I ended up totally frustrated with a wasted 3 hours and nothing to show for it. Well not what I wanted anyway.
I’d have been much better off asking for the help from my lovely web designer, getting her to do it while I did what I need to.
So often we think we can do something or we take the time out of our precious day to do something that ‘needs’ to be done and we end up not doing it as well as an expert.
The other day I was at a meeting and I heard the expression ‘time poor’ at least 3 or 4 times. It was said in a jokey manner but we all have only 24 hours, some of which we need to eat and sleep, spend some ‘us’ time, see the family, be sociable. If we try to do ‘everything’ there’s going to be nothing left. And at what cost? Stress, anxiety, headaches, fatigue are only a few of the side effects of trying to ‘do it all’.
Look at it like this – we don’t usually ‘see’ money anymore – we use credit and debit cards, bank online, pay for things online – so money is just ‘a number’.
If you pay me for helping you to achieve your goals, I can then pay someone to clean my house, my windows, service my car, do my website, decorate my home, colour my hair, – this then frees me up to be able to give YOU more of my energy because I’m not exhausted from doing all that other stuff.
It’s only an exchange of energies – because money is energy – and we use it as a form of exchange as it’s more convenient than the gold they used hundreds of years ago (and sheep and cattle of course); bit difficult going to the local supermarket with a truckload of sheep and exchanging them for the week’s groceries! Paper money came into existence because it was much ‘lighter’ and easier to carry round.
So all I’m saying is get on with what you do and pay someone to do what you can’t. The added benefits you will get are going to be amazing. You know the reason you’re not good at something probably means you don’t like doing it which means its’ a chore. So why do it? Just think of it – pay someone to do those chores you hate and you can spend some quality time with your family.
I’m sure you’re really good at what you do – why ‘waste time’ doing what you’re not.
Get in the experts, - not just in the home but in your business too.
Someone told me recently she was going to spend the following few weeks sorting out her books – this meant she didn’t have the time to work with her clients (she’s an Alexander Technique practitioner) and therefore she was actually losing money. How counter-productive is that?
Let’s face it if you’re an entrepreneur if you’re not working you’re not earning. Scary thought that.
And I’m sure it’s the same for a lot of people – we think we’re saving money by doing something ourselves when if we just realised, we’re just exchanging one energy for another (time, effort for currency) and if like me you just end up frustrated with time gone and not much to show for it – well the answer is pretty obvious isn’t it?
So pay for those services you need – and free yourself up to be the best you can be at what you excel at.
And if you need some help with that I can help you – that’s what I’m good at – helping people change their behaviours, their mind set to live a better life, the life they want rather than what they have.
And if you’re doing ‘other stuff’ to put off doing what you hate.
Now that’s a whole different ball game.
Procrastination is a killer – it’ll stop you getting where you want to be. And I can help you get rid of it. Simply, easily, and effectively.
After all you are an expert in what you do, doesn’t it make sense to pay an expert to do what they do and make your life simpler?
It’s an investment. An Investment in Your future

Author's Bio:

I've been on my own personal development journey for many years, discovering, learning and studying with some of the very best experts in their fields.
I’ve always worked in a people environment helping and advising so it seemed a natural progression for me to move from that to becoming a personal development coach.
I believe very much that unless you re-programme your negative beliefs and thoughts you'll never 'move on' and that could be with relationships, weight loss, health, career, money.
Using the very powerful and effective processes of EFT, NLP, Hypnosis, and Theta Healing, I motivate and steer people toward living the lives they want rather than what they 'should' or been told to. This gives them the opportunity to truly live the life they deserve.
I believe that what we put out there we get back and the only way to improve our lives is by ‘reprogramming’ our mindset.
The 3 greatest internal blocks people have are fear, self doubt and procrastination. When we release those we can be, do, have whatever it is we truly desire.
Like a computer when the 'hardware' isn't congruent with the 'software' no advancement can be made when we are out of sync; and it's the same with our brains. If we say one thing – and believe in our subconscious something totally, different we’ll never make the changes we think we want. Our thoughts and beliefs are what makes us tick so whatever the issue whether it’s relationships, work/career, money, self esteem, confidence; I help people look at what is holding them back and help them release those ties enabling them to go forward with whatever it is they desire. . But it can be a very painful process, the letting go, and people have to be ready and willing to make the changes. Affirmations are wonderful tools but useless without that one major ingredient – Action!
Once you take the Action, are consistent and make the commitment – YOU make it happen
With Persistence plus Confidence YOU equal Success
My greatest joy is seeing the transformation when someone releases their blocks and moves forward.
