Keeping hope alive is a challenge at times and an opportunity both. When I think about what hope means I need to take a deep breath and go quietly inside to find the definition.

The words that come to me are "keep on keeping on" which begin to define hope. Keeping hope alive is about being present to the moment and continuing to move forward no matter what.

My friend Debbie died this morning, Saturday on the full moon and my heart aches terribly. Today when I read her blog posts about her art I learned more things about her and what keeping hope alive truly means.

"Hope keeps alive our dreams and wishes"

Here is what Debbie wrote on her artist blog about what hope meant to her:

"The thing is we all have to live our lives fully today and everyday because each new day is a gift. There are no promises about tomorrow. We have to have HOPE!

Find your Place of Peace Inside

It is easy to have hope when your life is humming along nicely. The challenge is to have hope even when your heart is crushed and the rug has been pulled out from under you in an instant. It is essential for your well being to find your place of peace inside.

In order to find your place of peace inside you need to honor your emotions by simply feeling them. It is an act of self love to be present with and for yourself emotionally. Just breathe through the feelings.

Follow your breath as you go inside, close your eyes and keep focusing on your breath. All is well. You are not alone. Go deeper to find your place of peace inside through meditation.

You are spirit in a physical body, your temple. Remember that with hope you are greater than the circumstances in your life that crush your heart. Thank you Deb for that reminder, a gift from the other side.

Intuitive Readings in Saugerties NY and by Phone

When a client sets up an Intuitive Reading session with me I suggest that they write down their questions before the session. The specific questions help the client to focus their intention on what they want guidance for in their life.

At the beginning of the Intuitive Reading with each individual, I go into a meditative state and ask Spirit to allow me to be a clear and pure channel of love, healing and guidance for the client. The answer to each question flows through me in words and pictures. The information that I channel is spiritual yet practical.

Reiki Training & Reiki Healing

In September 1992 Maureen received her first degree Reiki training. After years of practicing Reiki healing in small groups, workshops, centers, and retreats throughout the United States, Maureen received her second degree Reiki and Reiki Master Degree in August 1999.
