Can there be a transparent faith that doesn't interfere with one's chosen belief system? It's a situation that is arising around the latest teacher/guru to bring his teachings to America. I'm referring to Mahendra Kumar Trivedi. Unlike his robed predecessors from Benares, Poona, Delhi and almost any other stop along the holy highways and byways of mother India, Trivedi comes with zero dogma and zero ritual. In fact, he has zero interest in replacing or displacing anyone's faith. All he wants to do is share what he calls, "The Blessing."

"The Blessing" is a form of shaktipad, or what Trivedi calls, "thought energy transmission."

In 1995, at the age of thirty-two, Trivedi underwent a deep spiritual change, which included the ability to both handle and channel large amounts of energy. He quit his job as a mechanical engineer and decided to devote the rest of his life to application of sharing "The Blessing." Over the past 15 years, he has shared this energy with seekers of all faiths, not wanting to impinge upon their chosen practice or worship. This is almost antithetical to the formation of religious faiths as an organizing principle and while Trivedi does perform the role of priest to some extent and his students lovingly call him "Guruji" he's not in the business of recruiting followers, which is why the concept of a non-denominational application of this energy is fairly compelling.

While there may be some objections to those that are involved in more orthodox practices, Trivedi's "Blessing" is a natural fit for faiths with more of an open source approach to worship and service, including, but not exclusive to the Unitarian and Science Of Mind churches and certain sects of Buddhism, which stress the formless nature of both spirit and matter.

In a world becoming dominated by tech-speak, one could think of Trivedi's energy work as a "plug-in" for an existing program (faith).

If however someone's life is changed by the transmission of thought energy, The Trivedi Foundation does offer advanced programs with Trivedi, such as the Master-Student program and the Healing Master’s program which allows them to get closer to and understand the spiritual mechanics of the energy and how they might eventually be able to apply it in their own lives.

The Trivedi Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2009. One of the main goals of the Foundation is to work with the scientific community at major universities and research centers to provide further insight into the transformational properties of Mahendra Trivedi’s energy transmissions, the results of which are known as the Trivedi Effect™. To date the Foundation has participated in thousands of scientific studies validating Trivedi’s ability to bring about change at the atomic and molecular levels.
