Rajasthan, the land of raja-maharajas is famous for its rich culture, tradition, cuisine and old heritage. Out of all these, Rajasthani cuisine is simply mouth-watering. Being a royal land due to its inhabits of kings of olden times, you can still savour the royal cuisines here, which used to prepare for the kings only. Rajasthani menu includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian specialties which people love to taste. The special liquor of Rajasthan is also worth to give a try.

Rajasthanis are very fond of chutneys. You will get to taste different flavours of chutney, Prepared using different spices like turmeric, coriander, mint and garlic, these are mouth-watering. Apart from the spicy delicacies, the sweets of Rajasthan are too good. Sweets are an integral part of the Rajasthani menu. People love to consume the sweets before and with the food. Besan Chakki, Ghevar, Churma, Dilkhushaal, Balushahi and Motichoor Ladoos are some popular sweets of Rajasthan.
