Once upon a time there was a former nun and a former seminarian (student of the priesthood).

They met as chaperones at a church function. The first time Cal laid eyes on Paul, he was flailing around in his poncho, trying to rid himself of a bee.

His energy was so attractive to Carolyn (affectionately known as Cal), that she said to herself, “If he doesn’t ask me out for coffee soon, I’m going to ask him.”

He invited her first.

A match made in Heaven on Earth.

Talking for hours on end, these two agreed that the most important things to them were God (And to them, God is Love) and sex.

The rest is history.

They got married about a year later. They’ve become best known for their incredible work on Cape Cod, providing a home for those without. Please visit www.champhomes.org to find out more about their impressive ministry.

Perhaps you’ve guessed it. This is my parents’ Love story.

I’m the youngest of their three daughters. And my story starts with them. They raised me to believe that Loving each other is what life is all about.

So it’s no surprise that I’ve recognized that this is my mission: to create A More Loving World by teaching others what my parents taught me about Love.

How To Write a Love Story

As my parents’ taught me, the first step in writing a Love story is knowing your own values. Only then can you find a partner with priorities that align with your own.

Together, you are a force more powerful than just the sum of your parts.

My Husband and I agree that time is precious and we want to spend it doing work we Love. We want to be an example to our daughters of living a life of Love, joy and freedom.

Find ways to express your unique gifts with the world and you are well on your way to writing a Love story of epic proportions.

Starting from scratch

I realize that many people didn’t grow up with the kind of Loving example that I had. Maybe you’re reading this feeling like your story started very differently.

But the nice thing is, you can decide to start a new chapter. You can commit to Love from now on.

Writing a Love story begins with the desire to learn how to write a Love story.

Keep thinking about what makes you happy. Spend time every day doing that.

Love yourself, Love your partner, Love your children, Love your neighbor. (And by neighbor I mean everyone you share the planet with!)

My parents even instilled in me a Love of the planet itself. Without Her gifts, we wouldn’t be here at all. That’s why I’m a GreenAmerican Mama.

One Word at a Time

Even the best selling page-turners are written one word at a time.

I highly recommend keeping a journal. It’s a perfect way to get to know yourself better. You can keep track of thoughts and feelings and figure out what makes you feel good on a daily basis.

Journaling is also a great tool for thinking more clearly about what you want and how to get it. Writing down a plan of action makes it much more likely that you will achieve your goals.

Imagine your perfect day, your best year ever. Dream about an ideal world. Write about it.

Describe the mate you’re looking for in great detail. If you’re already in a relationship, you may want to write about the best version of you and your partner, enjoying life to the fullest.

Once you’ve given shape to your ideas, you can figure out how to take more steps towards making them a reality.

You now know how to write a Love story. Discover your passion and find others who share your vision. Live each day with an open heart. Embrace the infinite possibilities that Cosmic Love offers.

What do you Love?
How can you share this Love with the world?
