The human body is designed to experience stress.  In certain situations, your nervous system releases stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol which activate the fight-or-flight response.  This reaction helps you effectively deal with a dangerous situation.
Stress is positive when it keeps you alert in case of danger. Stress is negative when it’s continual and prolonged without needed relaxation.
Exercise, massage, and diet like avoiding caffeine, alcohol and nicotine all help you handle stress, but it’s more of a temporary band-aid rather than a long-term solution.
