The more you have, the higher you will rank in search engines like Google, Yahoo, Bing, ect... Socialize
Finally, you want to socialize. Join social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Linked In and Google Plus! Make friends by finding those with similar interests and make sure to link to all of your new pages and articles through your social profiles. This will build brand awareness and cause people to search for your website name telling the search engines that your website is important. Also, the link value to your articles bleeds through them to your website. Not to mention all the links to the new pages in your website that you have created!
