1. Be Romantic
Romance is important for the success of a relationship. Husbands want their wives to show them that they (the wives) adore and cherish them. When you are affectionate towards your husband, it tells him that you care about his feelings, especially when you do it in public.
So, from time to time, kiss your husband when you are in the shopping mall or when you are walking on an avenue in your neighborhood.
Furthermore, tell him you love him often. Make sure you look into his eyes when you remind him of your love for him because it will tell him that you mean what you are saying—it will make your expression of love look authentic.
Additionally, tell him that you think he is the most handsome man you have ever set your eyes on in this world and also compliment him on his achievements in the office.

2. Listen To Him
One of the biggest complaints husbands have about their wives is the fact that their wives do not listen to them. Even if you are not enthused about what he is saying to you, give him respect by acknowledging that you are listening to what he is saying. Let him feel that he can talk to you about whatever bothers him and you will be the first person he will turn to when he needs advice or comfort.

3. Be Generous Towards Him
Many women tend to think that it is the sole responsibility of a man to give gifts in a marriage. But as one Ashanti proverb says, “A man can prepare a good meal just as well as a woman.” In the other words, what a man can do, a woman can also do!
So, do not always expect your husband to give you gifts. That will make him feel that you do not appreciate anything he does for you. When you can afford it, buy gifts for him to let him see that he is always on your mind. And never forget to give him the two free gifts which are far more valuable that all the gifts you can buy with money—your time and your body!

4. Be Loyal
Resolve to be committed to your husband and to the success of the marriage so that you will be more willing to stick to your husband through the storms and challenges that will assail your marriage. It will make your husband know that he has a true friend who will go the full journey with him and that will encourage him to treat you with love and respect.
