Making decisions can be tough sometimes, especially if they are ones that you don’t really want to be making. I have recently had to make a decision that I really did not want to make and was so concerned that I was making the wrong one that I stressed myself out so much I felt ill!

There are people who are so sure of their actions that they make decisions easily and without the stress that most of us feel. Decision making is all about self-belief, and to get to the point where making decisions is easy for us, we need to believe in ourselves completely.

We must believe in:

Our thoughts
Our actions
Our ability to do what is right for us
Decision making ultimately comes down to what is right for us as individuals and, as hard as it is, we must not consider others when we have to make a decision about our own lives. We are the ones who will live with our decisions and actions, nobody else, also as hard as we try we cannot feel the same as other people do about all situations.

Here are some tips for making better decisions without the stress:
Make a list of pros and cons for every decision, be completely honest with yourself so that you can get the right balance
Trust your gut instinct, it’s simple, if something feels wrong, it probably is, your instincts will tell you so.
Gather all the information you can about the subject you are making a decision on, being completely informed is a bit part of what will help you to make the right decision.
Don’t over think it, you will never ever come to the right decision, or any decision for that matter, if you over think it… You will talk yourself in and out of something so many times that you will just be exhausted and no further with what you need to do!
Decision making is not as difficult as we make it, it is relatively easy to make the right decisions when we have self-belief, so maybe master that first with the help of our previous blog post: The Power of Faith and Self-belief

Once you believe in yourself, you will be able to do anything, including making tough decisions, s when you next need to make a decision, check out these tips and it should make it easier for you!
