When you’re trying to figure out how to get a guy, wouldn’t it be easier to just to have a list of flirting techniques in your purse? Well, use this simple list to make your Friday night a little easier while out on the prowl.
1. Smile! =)
Smiling is to be done while waiting on a guy to spot you, or while talking with the guy you landed. When waiting to get the attention of a guy, remember to keep a smile on your face. But be careful, you don’t want to look like a clown while waiting. Your smile should be appropriate and natural looking. If you are currently taking to a guy, be sure to smile regularly. When he smiles back, you’ll know that he likes talking to you.
2. Choose
Remember that while on the dating scene, it is likely that you will meet complete strangers to converse with. This is what you want, but choose rationally. Try to approach guys who seem to fit in your idea of attractive. But remember that you don’t have to be attracted to someone in order to flirt. Sure, it helps, but you get the idea.
3. Eye Contact
Once you’ve chosen the guy you want to pursue, be sure to make eye contact. Most guys feel more comfortable approaching women who see them coming. If you’re smiling and making eye contact, then he knows it’s ok to make his way over. But if you’ve made eye contact, then move away; then he knows that you’re not interest.
4. Have a ‘pick-up’ line
Be sure to have a line even if he speaks first. You must follow up with a rebuttal in order to keep the conversation going. You can start with your name and compliment your surroundings, or you can simply give him the compliment and go from there. Whatever you do, don’t ask if he’s involved with someone within the first 30 seconds of the conversation.
5. Body language.
Remember that most communication is non-verbal. Be sure to lean into the conversation while talking. Touching him in a non-sexual way is also good. For example, if he says something funny, try touching him on his arm while you laugh. If he asks you to sit, be sure to cross your legs and lean into him. But again I say non-sexual physical gestures are important. You don’t want him to get the wrong idea.
