History of Quba Mosque.

During the Hijrah period, the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) stayed in Quba Mosque for 3 to 4 days, alongside his (SAWW) companion Abu Bakr (RA). This was right before the migration to Madinah. When the Prophet (SAWW) stayed at the Mina region, he (SAWW) ordered the construction of the Quba Mosque during the period of 622 A.D.

The Prophet (SAWW) is known to have personally contributed his (SAWW) labor for its building. Today the mosque stands as the first-ever mosque built in Islam and due to its sanctity, the Prophet (SAWW) visited and prayed at the mosque every Saturday when he was in Madinah.
