The local church is the prayer place, and it is a community of Christians who lead their lives by following the way that Jesus has been advised. They go there to show the unconditional believe and love to Jesus supremacy and also those pieces of advice of Jesus.
It is the simple and custom definition of the local church. The beginning life and also the ongoing life of the Church are an extension of Jesus’s supremacy. We only exist because of him and also persevere because he will never change and will be same yesterday, today and in the future forever.

Why is the local Church called Church of Christ?

There are some reasons that why the Church is correctly called the church of Christ. Such designation is not the only exclusive name which is referred by the Bible but also a denominational name. Because of Christ is the very foundation of the church and also founded the church it is usually called the church of Christ.

The Story behind the Building Of Church:

In the old era, we see that God continuously had sent prophets by appointing them in the important roles of human lives. God delivered them instructed them and lastly admonished the Israelites. God made his motion in a specific, visible and formal way. He always did so through human mouth, hands, feet, wills and also their minds. God established a means and a low for executing it.
In concert with the redemptive act of God, Jesus did three extraordinary task that established the module and the framework of the Church for the sake of God. The first task he has done that he choose humans to carry out and to follow his work. He appointed Peter as the visible monitor or the head of his Church. Jesus said to the monitor of his Church, “You are Rock and on this rock, I will build my Church” he also said “build,” which meant to create a structure. Jesus creates the structure of his Church chosen human beings the apostles and Peter.
The second task Jesus done that, he gave the authority and the power to Peter and the apostles to follow and carry out the work that he teaches in his lifetime. Jesus said, “Whatever you bind n earth will be bound in heaven.” He also said, “Receive the Holy Spirit, whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven, whose sins you retain, they are retained.”
The third task Jesus has done is that he gave the commands to Peter and the apostles what the task should be. He strictly commanded that, “Do this in memory of me.” He said them to make disciples of the whole world. He commanded, “Go into the whole world and proclaim the Gospel to every creature.”
The very first Church was structured in a hierarchical honor like the present days. We can see in Acts of chapter 15 that, the elders and the apostles came forward together under the leadership of the monitor St. Peter to find out the answer of the question that what was required of Gentiles. We also come to know how the monitor was regarded as the head of the Church when St. Paul said, “Went up to Jerusalem to confer with Kephas and remained with him fifteen days.” We could not find any of evidence of the independent local Church.

Founders of Local Church:

Only one local church was founded personally by Christ which name is The Catholic Church. This church was claimed to have been founded by him personally. Every other church like Pentecostal Churches and Holy Spirit filled Churches were lineage back or have been discovered by the human being such as John Wesley and Martin Luther. As Jesus Christ appointed St. Peter as the first pope, all the Catholic churches use Lineage back to him. Since 2,000 years this line of appointing the pope has continued unbroken. And the Catholics promised to maintain this rule until the end of human being.
