The release of acid secretion shows an intricate balance of chemotransmitters delivered to the gastric mucosa by different pathways that mediate both stimulatory and inhibitory mechanisms. Similarly, several factors contribute to the remarkable ability of normal gastroduodenal mucosa to defend itself against injury from the acid activity in gastric juice and to repair rapidly injury when occurs.

Gastric acid helps in digestion of proteins and the absorption of calcium, iron, and vitamins. It also repress growth of bacteria, which can help in preventing the entry of infections and also small intestinal bacterial overgrowth.

PHASES OF ACID SECRETION
The stimulation of acid secretion has been basically divided into three phases: cephalic, gastric, and intestinal . The first phase is activated by the thought, taste, smell and and swallowing. It is mediated mostly by vagal mechanisms. The second phase is due to the chemical effects of food and distension of the stomach. The third and the lastS phase accounts for only a small proportion of the acid secretory response to a meal; its mediators remain controversial. The observationthat hydrogen receptor antagonists block the first and last phases underscores the importance of histamine mediation of the stimulatory response, and shows the interdependence of the different phases.
SYMTOMS
Normally the gastric acid release has a certain amount. The release of the gastric acid will result in nausea, throwing up acidic water and so on. As for the causes, some individuals may still find it liver injury leading to anger and despair, while an individual realize its the result of cholecystitis, and also eating too much meat can lead to the release of abnormal gastric acid.Generally, the complexities could be easily separated into two parts, that is definitely physiological as well as pathologic factors.

The physiological factors. When people are in the healthiness of emotional pressure, weakness or bad mood, are unable to regulate the nerve which release the gastric acid secretion. Incorrect and unhealthy diet, like eating too sweet, salty, spicy, sour, cold, hot food, will also stimulate gastric acid secretion.
