Ziqitza Healthcare Limited
The story of Shweta Mangal and Shaffi Mather is quite incredible. It started on a difficult night, when Shaffi Mather's mother choked in sleep and it took them a long time to reach the hospital. This is when they realized the need of emergency medical services in India and roped in friends Ravi Krishna, Manish Sacheti and Naresh Jain to launch Ziqitza Healthcare Limited, an emergency healthcare service provider.

Today, the company operates on a public-private partnership, having served more than 10 million people so far. ZHL manages more than 3500 ambulances across 18 states in the country.

Retas Enviro Solutions

Ankit Magan, Priyank Jain and Neeraj Chauhan got stuck in a relentless shower of rain at Gurugram in 2016. While they were trapped, the roads were drenched as rain water started to accumulate. Both the friends thought about an innovation that could help save rain water. Half a year later, they started with Retas Enviro Solutions in New Delhi to design, manufacture and install water tanks and modular rainwater harvesting systems.

The company today serves clients like Tata steel, Reckitt Benckiser, SIEMENS, Hi-Tech Gears, HPCL, Government of Delhi, Government of Uttarakhand and many other renowned brands.

Postfold

Ashish and Aashray were living in the US as roommates. They soon became friends and started enjoying each other’s company. Their clothing requirements changed, since they spent a lot of time in the US. They got used to a variety of options and realized that the fabric used is of higher quality, but doesn't justify the 10x mark-ups.

They soon came up with a business model and manufactured style apparels using high-quality fabrics in the cost-effective manner. Last year, the startup recorded a turnover of Rs 1.6 crores.

There are numerous examples of buddies becoming business partners and achieving un-matched success in various fields. It all starts with understanding each other in a better way, before an idea pops up during an event and results in the formation of a business model that takes the market by storm.
