You will encounter three general types of prospects while building your network marketing business. It is important to know the difference so that you can achieve maximum results in the least amount of time.
There are three types of prospects...not just in network marketing, but just about in any business.
Three Types of Prospects
1. Red Apples
2. Green Apples
3. Rotten Apples
Red Apples
Red Apples are positive, motivated, and open to try your products or services, or join your business opportunity. A lot of amateur network marketers are so over-zealous about their company, that they will talk their red apples to
death, and might even cause their red apples to lose interest. When you are talking to a Red Apple it is important to ask questions and to listen more than you talk. A good closing to ask a Red Apple is: "Are you ready to get started,
or do you have any other questions?"
Green Apples
Green Apples often have a lot of questions and/or objections.
There are three common outcomes when dealing with Green Apples.
1. They turn into Red Apples after you answer a few of their questions or objections.
2. They remain undecided after you answer a few of their questions. Do not let these Green Apples waste your time with a bunch of questions. Answer only a few of their questions and then point your Green Apples to a few
informative resources so that they can do their own research.
3. They become Rotten Apples
Rotten Apples
Rotten Apples are negative people who will not be interested in what you have to offer, regardless of how good your opportunity or products are. Rotten Apples are also known as haters, and they do not want to see you succeed.
That is why they will say things intentionally to discourage you and belittle you.
Spend 80% of your time with Red Apples, 20% of your time with Green Apples, and do not waste any of your valuable time with Rotten Apples or negative people.
Much Success,
