  • 1.5 Cup Long Grain Basmati Rice
  • 2 Tablespoon of Ghee/Oil
  • 3 Teaspoon Salt
  • 5 Cups Water
  • 2 Kashmiri Cinnamon Stick
  • 3/4 Green cardamom

For Marinating:

  • 1/2 Cup fresh greek Yogurt.
  • Meat 2kgs.
  • 1 Tablespoon Biryani Masala or powder mix.
  • 2 Green Chilies
  • 1 Tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • Marination of meat with yoghurt and other spices.

For Saffron Milk:

  • 10 Tablespoon Warm Milk
  • 10 Saffron Strands

INSTRUCTIONS:

For Saffron Milk:

1. Soak saffron strands in warm milk for 15 mins. Leave it aside.
3. Adding cashews and sauté them.
4. Adding sliced onions and sauté for 3 minutes to make it light golden coloured.
5. Now adding 2 ginger-garlic paste and stir in medium flame.
6. Adding sliced tomatoes and cook till it forms a paste.
7. Adding marinated meat and cook in medium flame until the raw smell goes.
8. Adding water as necessary for boiling and mixing well.
9. Garnishing with spice powder.
10. Mixing and remove after a few minutes.

Arranging the Layers:

Step 1: Take cooked meat sand spread it in a pot.
Step 2: Now take some cooked rice and spread over the meat. Add some saffron milk over it. Sprinkle mint leaves, coriander leaves, and fried onions.
Step 3: Add left cooked meat and spread it and sprinkle saffron milk over it again.
