• 1 pound of ground beef
• A cup of chopped onion
• 16 oz. of kidney beans
• 15 oz. of tomato sauce
• 14 oz. can of diced tomatoes
• A tablespoon of chili powder
• 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

Bread bowl:
• 1 tablespoon of cornmeal
• 2/3 cup of water
• 1/4 cup of butter
• A cup of all purpose flour
• 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
• 2 teaspoons of baking powder
• 4 large eggs

Prepare the filing of the bread. Begin by browning the slices of beef and the onion in a large saucepan. Then, drain excess oil in the beef by using paper towels. Set aside.
