No, I mean, do you REALLY want to change your life?
How to Start Making Life Changes Now
Many people say they want to change their lives. They complain about their jobs, their spouses, their kids, their problems. But they don't really want to change. What they want is for their lives to change.
I'm asking, do YOU want to change your life? Are you willing to dig in and do the work to make the changes that have to be made? The changes that you need to make?
Because if you do, I will help you. Starting right here, right now, in this article.
Why would you want to change your life?
For starters, because everyone could stand a change. I've never seen anyone who couldn't improve their life, including myself. I have a great life, but I'd love to improve it. I'd love to improve myself, and I'm constantly trying to do that.
No matter how great things are, they could be better. And if you have areas in your life that you're not happy with, or not completely satisfied with, they can be better. You can change them.
That's why you might want to change your life. So do you want to? Are we on?
When do you want to start? Are you ready?
Now, what do you want to change? If you're understanding what I'm saying so far, you probably know that you have to change yourself, but I might surprise you here.
You have to change your attitude, of course, but you can change your circumstances, as well.
You can change your circumstances by changing your attitude, and by taking action to change the circumstances you don't want. You can start by deciding what you're no longer willing to tolerate, and then doing something about it.
At first this will be small things, like throwing out the ugly vase on your desk. Later you may end relationships that are causing you pain. You may leave a job that is sucking your soul dry, for a job that makes your soul sing. You may move across the country and go to school.
Some of this will be easy, some of it will be hard. Life changes range from small, simple changes to huge, difficult evolutions. All of them matter.
All of them start with deciding that you will make the changes. In fact, all of them start with answering one simple question: "Who am I to change?"
I'll tell you who you are. You are you. You have the right to these life changes. You are the only one who can change your life, and you are entitled to do so. You must do it. You must do it now, and you must do it here. You must do it, if you want the life you are entitled to, if you want to become the person you want to be.
