Equis Metastock has a wide array of options and excellent tools that will enhance your trade performance. You only need to take the time to learn its easy programming language and you will be able to create custom indicators that will fit your trading style. Believe me, not having to depend on some standard and common indicators like RSI or Stochastics, will have a great effect on your trading skills.

Not having to depend on standard indicator means that from now on, you can’t use as an excuse that the indicator is not reliable or is not accurate since you will be creating your own custom indicators. Since you will be creating them, you can blame you and only you. If they do not work, it is your job to go out there and fix them. This might look a bit scary at first, but after you get used to it, there is no better feeling than having full control to all the data that Metastock, or any other technical analysis software for that matter, is showing you.

Do not be afraid and do not delay the learning process of learning Metastock’s native programming language. The sooner you start, the better off you will be and you will soon realize that Metastock offers you many more opportunities and capabilities that you were unaware that existed in the first place. Expert advisor is one of my favorites and I have different setups with which I scan stocks every day.

Metastock’s expert advisor greatly reduce the scanning process since it can show with highly customizable indicators and graphics tips, when a setup is taking place. One example is when I’m looking for NR7 candles – a candle that has the smallest range from the last seven days. This is a simple yet powerful indicator that a big move might be coming. Now, imagine yourself trying to manually check for this simple indicator. A simple expert advisor would greatly aid you when searching for such a small, but powerful indicator.
