It is surprisingly how easy it can be to interpret dreams. The easiest dreams to interpret are 'distraction dreams'. These are dreams we have when the mind is distracted. The theory goes something like this - if your mind is allowed to relax and think then it will concentrate on the major emotional issues in your life. However, if your mind is distracted by anything then do not expect it to think about the big issues of your life. So any dreams you have whilst distracted will be triggered by this distraction.

A distraction could occur when we need to go to the toilet. How could the mind ever concentrate on major issues when you are bursting to go to the toilet! Any dream you have is easy to interpret. It simply captures some thought related to your urgent need. It maybe difficult to interpret but its meaning is definitely linked to that need to go to the toilet. The link with reality maybe strange. Take the following dream

THE DREAM I heard this voice. It was saying "You need to stop doing this". Then it repeated the same message.

Its meaning was quite clear and even humorous. I woke up wishing to urgently go to the toilet. What I normally do is to lay quietly thinking about any dream. This allows every detail to settle into your memory. Its easy to forget a dream. My own subconscious mind was aware of this need to lie quietly. The dream clearly was aware that I would lie awake and try to think through my dream. It was kind of having a conversation with me knowing how I would react. It was my minds way of saying "You need to stop lying awake and think through your dream. Really you need to stop doing it". So the dreams meaning was humorous in its meaning.

So understanding such dreams is easy. They in some way relate to your thoughts and emotions concerning the distractions whilst you sleep. I had the following dream whilst my radio was on.

THE DREAM I was in some church or temple. Beautiful ethereal music was playing.

When I woke up my radio was playing some wonderful trance music. It was at a low volume so the music was perculating into my brain in very subtle ways. The dream captured my emotions as I listened to this music. I was moved by the music in real life and this was reflected in the dream.

So its easy to interpret such dreams. It is no surprise why a dream about an asylum took place whilst I was suffering toothache. Precise Interpretations of such dreams may not be easy but they will tend to simply capture the fact that you were distracted.
