A Little Bit of Spiritual Stuff to Help You On Your Journey

Spirituality offers many benefits to our lives. Developing your spiritual life can give you a sense of purpose. People who have taken time to develop their spiritual life are also likely to better understand their needs.
It’s unfortunate that there is so much misconception about spirituality. Spirituality is not religion. One may be spiritual and not religious. Is it not the purpose of this article to discuss the merits of religion as the work discussed here is meant to be “in addition to and not instead of” your current religious and/or spiritual practices.
Here are two exercises that will help you connect with your spirituality. The two exercises are Prayer and Mediation. It is said that if you want to speak to God (or your Higher Power, the Universe, Nature, or what ever you believe in) you pray and if you want to hear the answer to those prayers you meditate.

Your Job and Your Work – What’s the Difference?

There is a clear distinction between ones “job” and “work”. A job is a task that provides you with some type of remuneration, like a pay check or other type of compensation. Your work is what your real purpose is in life, your true calling, it brings you complete satisfaction. The ultimate scenario is to have your job and your work be one. If you love what you do you never feeling like it is a grind to get up in the morning and you’ll welcome each new day with joy, pleasant expectations and happiness.

What’s Your Passion?

What is your passion? What do you really love to do? If someone were to say to you I will pay you a very good salary/fee for your services, what would that service be? This is a very good time to start “brainstorming” with yourself and others about what you are really passionate about. Money is no object! What makes you happy! ? Give this some time and sit with this.
Why is this important you may ask? Sometimes we have a habit to only think in a certain way and we need to stir things up a bit. If you are a conventional thinking person be unconventional here! If are a unconventional thinking person try some conventional thinking for a change. If you are an analytical thinking person get creative and conversely if you are a creative person think analytical. Use both sides of your brain. Think out of the box, think out of your box. You will be pleasantly surprised!
Your True Job – Learn How to Find to Find It!

To find your true job there are three very important subjects that must be mastered; personal networking, the proper way to write a resume and cover letters. With market conditions being highly competitive for the foreseeable future I find most people take these three topics very lightly conversely successful people take these topics extremely seriously. The truth is we live in a very competitive world with those knowing what to do and doing it right get where they want to go and achieve all that they want to achieve. Learn and master these three areas and you will be on your way to finding your ideal job.

Should I be an Entrepreneur?
Running your own business can be the most rewarding experience of
your life, the freedom to do whatever you want and whenever you want to do it. It can also be the worse experience of your life, consuming every aspect of your life and all your finances. Being an entrepreneur is not for everyone and not for people that are not willing to do whatever it takes. To do things they never have done before or are perform uncomfortable tasks that need to be done in order to run a successful business. It can also be the most rewarding thing you have ever done, taking a concept from thought to creation and delivering your product and/or service and having a positive impact on other people lives and making money doing so, will make you feel like you have made a real difference in this world.

Your Life Purpose Statement – Let the World Know Who You Really Are!

Your Life Purpose Statement is similar to a company’s Mission Statement in that you are telling others what is your purpose and how they can benefit by knowing and working with you. This is done for a number of reasons, one of which is to inform people what you do and how it can help them. We also live in a time that we need to let people know in the short amount of time what we do.

This is not the end but the beginning, a new beginning in your life! Remember that you are not alone and that your life is getting better and better. You have wonderful unique gifts, skills and knowledge that will help you make a difference in the lives of so many people. The world is waiting for you, so don’t keep them waiting any longer. Go out there and live your life purpose and have a happy, prosperous and fulfilled life!
