Credit card debt relief is in fact possible today. This is the basis and contention of this article. Thank you for reading.
There are sometimes what appears to be conflicting solutions being offered and put forth by those in the credit and debt financial industry. The reasons are very simple - they have competing interests.
But in general, all of the debt relief programs available today work to varying degrees dependant on the debt situation of the consumer or business that is in need of debt relief.
Debt Consolidation: this is the debt relief program whereby the consumer or business that is struggling with debt (almost always) takes out a new loan to pay off multiple existing loans. This then provides only a single monthly loan payment to make that is less tht the sum of the previous multiple loan payments. Debt consolidation is almost always achieved throught the use of a home equity loan.
Debt Settlement - this is the debt relief program whereby the consumer or business that is struggling with debt will have a debt settlement firm negotiate and act as an aribitrator between themselves and their creditors.
Through debt settlement, consumers and businesses are able to achieve massive debt elmination of at least 50 percent in almost all cases. Unlike debt consolidation, debt settlement does not involve the taking out of a new loan of any kind.
There are other forms of debt relief programs available today, such as consumer credit counseling and even bankruptcy. These programs we shall discuss in our next article. Thank you for reading.
Credit card debt relief is more popular with consumers and businesses today then ever before.
