Every thought in mind and every word said is an affirmation. An affirmative statement refers to the agreement or consent on the subject. Every affirmation is a reflection of our beliefs and inner truths. Our beliefs are the learned thoughts over the years based on our childhood experiences. These beliefs are deeply embedded in our subconscious. Our responses and reactions to the everyday events in life are the outcomes of our beliefs. It is therefore very imperative that the set of beliefs that one possesses must be positive and constructive. This will result in positive affirmations which are essential for a healthy and happy living.

Positive affirmations are the reinforcement of our positive beliefs and replacement of negative beliefs with positive ones. These are powerful positive thoughts that one uses to create positive changes in their lives. These are the short positive statements that challenges and questions our negative set of beliefs and help them to be converted into positive thoughts. These statements keep us aligned with our inner goals and remind us to consciously use and alter our thoughts and words towards positive direction. Our destiny depends on what we think and believe. One can make positive changes in life by choosing to be positive.

Once our mind, body and soul are ready to be healed by using these constructive affirmations, the next step is to deliberately create a set of affirmations statements that will help to initiate the positive thought process. A few points to be kept in mind while creating these statements:

• There are many standard example affirmations written. One must use them to develop their own statements to cater to their individual needs.

• To make the statements interesting, use poetic or flowery style of writing.

• One must ensure that the statements should be in present tense.

• One must repeat these statements to self many times in a day to believe them and commence the healing process.

• While writing, the focus should be on what one wants and not the negative aspect of it.

• The statements must be true and reasonable enough to be believed. Our subconscious should believe in the statements to achieve the goal.

Positive statements can be used for many purposes to our advantage such as success, health, healing, happiness, peace, love and abundance. Positive thinking is the key to a healthy living. Our health and body is what it is because of the thoughts that we inculcate. Some of the examples of affirmations statements given:

• I have a healthy and energized body.

• I am in good state of health.

• My body is capable of healing easily and quickly.

• My health and well being is under my control.

• I have a healthy mind, body and spirit.

• My entire body functions are perfect.

The above health statements should be recreated to suit the requirements of an individual. In order to make the whole process motivating and appealing, there are different affirmation techniques such as mirror affirmation, written or spoken affirmation, singing affirmation and exercise affirmation technique. Use proper wordings and techniques for creating positive affirmations for health and witness a magical healthy life!
