Invisible Forces

Many people today are not experiencing the quality and quantity of success in their lives that they would like and feel they deserve. Why are some people very successful and others seem to be unable to get beyond a certain level? Why is success easy for some, difficult for others and impossible to achieve consistently for many others who struggle with this concept their whole lives? Sometimes exploring things that seem at first glance to be simple, can take us to places we did not expect to go. There can be a lot of variables that influence the general levels of success that we experience in our lives and we are rarely aware of not only what they are, but how they influence us.

Though we may be unconscious of the influences that impact the levels of success that we experience in our lives, they can be accessed by the use of various tools for achieving self awareness such as certain types of meditation. The real challenge here isn't whether we can access these influences, it is do we want to? And if we do, do we have the strength and courage necessary to do it? It is a well known fact that rummaging around in our personal reality by examining things like our perspectives, our mindset, our perceptions and especially our core beliefs can result in some unpredictable outcomes. We may encounter resistances so strong that we must seek the help of a professional in order to deal with them. I relied on faith and patience to get this done, but this is the long way to get there.

Drilling For The Truth

To understand the dynamics behind how we achieve or don't achieve success and all the levels in between, we need to drill down into the levels of the thing we call mind. We might build a visual construct for the purposes of exploration. Let's say that there is:

The general version of reality is the one that all humans must agree to in order to live together.
The personal version of reality is the conceptual version of reality that our mind creates that is usually convenient and comfortable for us as individuals.
Our perceptions of these realities and the nature of those perceptions, is critical to just how relevant and appropriate we are to the world around us.
Our perspectives on reality will have a strong influence on how we perceive the world and ourselves in the world.
Our mindset determines to a large extent what our perspectives will be and is built from our core beliefs.
Our core beliefs are where it all starts and are not only the most powerful influences but the most difficult to access and work with.

What does this all have to do with success? What if one of your core beliefs was that you don't deserve to be successful, this is not an unusual core belief, and the thing about core beliefs is that they have the power to configure our whole lives by influencing our mindset and thus all the other levels of mind. If we don't believe that we deserve success, then we will set out to make that a reality by our thinking, actions, inactions and behavior. We make real what we believe to be true.

Just because core beliefs are created by early life experiences and social and physical environmental influences doesn't mean they can't be changed which will result in changing your whole life in ways that you are able to determine, which also means that we have enormous power over our own lives. Is it easy? No! Is it possible? Yes!

Self Realization

Self realization is the journey from fear and ignorance to courage and awareness, and living a successful life is one consequence of this journey. Knowledge does represent a level of power, but a deep understanding of that same knowledge represents enormous power. Self realization is not an easy journey to take, especially where core beliefs are concerned. Think about it! Our core beliefs represent all that we experience ourselves to be, all we are and who we are, our entire identity and security. Faced with the prospect of exploring this territory and all that it might mean, many just decide to accept their lot in life, their lack of success and even failure because failure can become a comfort zone just like any other landscape of habitual behavior.

A person with extremely negative and limiting core beliefs will even find it hard to gather up the ambition and courage to change those beliefs because the original core beliefs are the kind that work against such positive and successful behavior, and for those people it gets down to a choice between surrender or fight for their lives and their right to live successfully and free from the misery of self doubt and negative self images. This is the one journey that you must be successful at regardless of the basic programming that is standing in your way. The general level of success that we achieve in our lives is directly related to our core beliefs, change your core beliefs and become the master of your life.

There is a great e-book that explores success failure and power.
