Compare Prices is a leading Internet site that allows consumers to compare millions of products and services (“products”) and their prices, features, and shipping fees. Hundreds of participating merchants present their products through the site.

Our search algorithm returns highly relevant results and makes useful suggestions to consumers as they search. When consumers find the desired product, they can “click through” to the merchant’s site and purchase the product there.

Compare Prices provides consumers with multiple ways to search for products.

To search all products, simply enter the product you are looking for in the search box near the top of the site and press the blue “Compare” button.

To narrow your search, select a category like “Eyewear and Contact Lenses” from the drop-down list next to the search box. Or, use the list at the left side of the home page to navigate to specific sub-category like “Sunglasses”.

Use the Advanced Search box to tailor your search by a product’s title, brand, description, category, or price range.

Within a sub-category, you can use the filters on the left side of the screen to refine your search further. For example, for Music Players you can select a particular brand like “Apple” or other feature like “2GB.” Also, you can select a price range and add your own keywords to narrow the search further.

You may re-organize search results by product name, brand, author, artist, or price.
Once you find the product you want, Compare Prices displays a list of merchants selling that product and a historical price graph of the product’s minimum, maximum, and average prices.

Each product listing contains a description and its major features. Select “See Features” to view a break-down of major features.

If two or more products that interest you are listed on the same search results page, simply mark their check boxes and select the blue “Compare” button for a side-by-side comparison.

Also, you can compare the features of two or more products side-by-side by using the “Add to Favorites” link on a product’s page. When you have added two or more products to your favorites list, you can compare them side-by-side on the same page.
