The parent drug in Wellbutrin XL, a bupropion hydrochloride drug is bio transformed by many enzymes into several metabolites such as hydroxybupropion, erthyrobupropion, and threohydrobupropion. Doctors don’t know why their patients suffer problems under budeprio
XL. This is because of the numerous misrepresentations in the budeprio
XL label, which lead physicians to believe the two pills are exactly the same. The following misrepresentations are taken directly from Budeprion XL’s label.

The lawsuits alleged that the company provided wrong information regarding time to peak plasma concentration for the drug to be approximately 5 hours. Where as FDA data declared it to be two hours. It also accused the company of providing wrong information regarding studies done on them.

Teva was also blamed to hide information regarding the drug even if it was aware of facts regarding the medicine and its side effects. The lawsuit is claiming compensation from the drug company as it put lives of many patients by hiding facts about the drug.
