This year, for a change, don’t book your ALICANTE VILLAS again but take a look at the city of El Campello. This area with its slightly laid back lifestyle is home to a seven kilometre stretch of Blue Flag quality beach. If you would like to check out the action on the beach there is a promenade spanning its entire length.

The envy of the tourist world is sequestered in seven kilometres of beautiful white sand. Its beauty is only exceeded in the bronzed bodies it creates. On the seven kilometres of hot white sandy beaches, of interest to you could be windsurfing, sailing and water skiing, some of which are available from the marina and the El Campello Yacht Club. For the most part all these activities are available all year long but check them out before you schedule your away break to insure availability. If it is a game of golf that you are after, there are two golf courses in the immediate area: the Bonalba golf course and Alicante golf course.

If you need a day out from your lodgings take a look at the old town of El Campello with all that it has to offer. There are old buildings such as the Town Hall along with Casa Cultura, which are whitewashed buildings including a Cultural Centre where you will find local art on display. With its stunning back drop created by the Mediterranean Sea, the Church of Saint Theresa is a beautiful building waiting to be explored. A trip down the port is a must where restaurants serving local delicacies are located along with even more history. For example there is the Tower of Illeta situated at the end of the beach, and if you climb to the top you will be afforded a view taking in the historical remains to the south. If you are up for a little potholing the Canelobre Caves, home to the largest stalactites and stalagmites on the Costa Blanca, is situated nearby.

It you become uninspired by the laid back atmosphere in El Campello venture over to Alicante, home to a vibrant nightlife and restaurants. You can sit in one of the seafront restaurants while the wind blows your hair and you twiddle your toes in the sand while sampling some of the finest seafood anywhere.. If it’s a stroll in the park you are interested in there is an array to choose from. Whatever you would like to do it is found in this city by the sea.

If you are able to venture a little further afield from your ALICANTE VILLAS then make the journey over to the seaside resort of Calpe with its famous rock extending out into the Mediterranean Sea waiting for someone to climb it. The beaches of Calpe are nothing short of beautiful along with its culture, historical monuments and brisk nightlife. It’s all here enough to suit anyone and any taste.
