Within a Ba Zi birth chart, there are ten heavenly stems and twelve earthly branches that represents, Direct Wealth and Indirect Wealth, amongst other aspects of life. By looking at and analyzing the stems and branches within a Ba Zi birth chart, a Chinese Astrologer can decipher the wealth luck of a person if this is what matters to him or her. A person’s life path is also governed by luck pillars that come in cycles of 10 years each.

From reading the Ba Zi birth chart, the Chinese Astrologer can pin point the elements of wealth whether it is in the stem or branches. If it is in the stem, it is exposed and usually denotes a wealth that people can see on a superficial level. If it is in the branch, the wealth is considered as hidden and the person may not be so willing to show off his or her richness. There is also a difference between Direct and Indirect Wealth.
