I've been studying the chakra system for years, and recently I just knew that was a way to incorporate the philosophy, the interconnectedness of the system, and the system itself into writing.

Recently, I had one of the biggest business epiphanies of my life where I could see how writing and chakras could work together. Interestingly, as I explored these relationships, I realized that pieces have been there all along, especially in my writing from your soul work. I just hadn't seen THIS level of connection.

I am thrilled to be able to share it with you!

Root Chakra - This is what you know and what you do. (For maximum impact, it needs to be your purposeful, soulful work.)

Sacral Chakra - What you know to be true - for you. Your passion - and your passionate work. (For maximum impact, share with others.)

Solar Plexus Chakra - Claim your worth and your power. Know - on a deep level - that what you do matters. (For maximum impact, have rituals and systems in place to keep reminding yourself of your profound value.)

Heart Chakra - Remove attachment. Feel. Connect. Love. (For maximum impact, tap into what your audience feels, needs, wants, desires.)

Throat Chakra - Use your intuition to start listening to what you want to express to the world. Continue to know your truth. Remove doubt and negative voices. (For maximum impact, learn to listen to your body and your inner wisdom... and then follow that.)

3rd Eye Chakra - What is the truth, not just the truth as you wish it to be, but the real, objective truth? (For maximum impact, find the sacred meaning in the truth.)

Crown Chakra - By doing your purposeful, meaningful, and therefore sacred work, you are fulfilling your spiritual purpose. You are creating the blueprint of your spiritual purpose. (For maximum impact, go to this "place" as often as you can to keep you on track.)

Just like any other system, both chakras and the writing process are integrated systems. That means parts work together... and the healthier the individual parts of the system are, the better they work together. Just as in a machine, if one cog sticks, it affects the performance of the whole.

Take a look again at the Chakras-for-Writing system above. What parts do you need to shore up, to work on? Which ones are running strong and powerfully?

I would love to hear how this resonates with you! Feel free to leave me a comment on the blog, and let's get the discussion going!
