We will probably be at the bottom of the market for a while, although within the year we may start to see some action in some locations. Prepare now by learning about your area. Learn how to buy right, learn how to negotiate, learn how to repair a property to reach its potential profit.

Real estate is an exciting business to be in, and the more money that is made, the more exciting it can be. The destination is fine, but the journey is what creates memories. The ultimate profits will be there, but for now, enjoy the ride. Learn about real estate as much as you can. Make it your objective to become an informed real estate investor. When you are an informed investor, you will feel confident making the right decisions. You certainly could buy good deals in a year or two from now, but you can also buy great deals right now. Now is the time to find motivated sellers, whether it is the bank, or Mr. Jones down the block. This is also a great time to buy because the 80% of the people that we spoke of earlier are not buying now for whatever reason and haven chosen to wait. That is one of the reasons the prices are where they are. Once 80% of the people start to make some moves, prices will rise, and the great deals will turn into good deals.

Start now to gain knowledge. Learn about market values. Learn about negotiating techniques. Learn about inexpensive ways of repairing a property. Build your foundation now, consisting of knowledge, information, and a desire to become as rich as you plan to be. And remember to always be an informed real estate investor.
