BTS bows at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with Love Yourself: Answer, garnering the K-pop set their next leader among the list after Love Yourself: Tear, that fell before in 2018.

The brand new record -- the next in the Korean boy band's Love Yourself trilogy -- arrives beneath the listing with 185,000 equal album units made in the week ending Aug. 30 according to Nielsen Music. In album sales, 141,000 were of that amount.

Love Yourself: Answer was released on Aug. 24 through BigHit Entertainment.

BTS & K-Pop's Largest Week Ever: Answer totals -- in both overall units earned and album sales -- provides the K-pop genre their best week and both BTS .

Third-Largest Week for a Pop Album of 2018: With 185,000 units made, Answer facsimile the week of this year for a pop album. Bigger 16, Justin Timberlake's Person of the Woods and Ariana Grande's Sweetener tallied.

An Unusual Non-English No. 1 Album: Like Her and Tear, Answer is done mostly in Korean with a few lyrics in English. Before Tear, the last mostly non-English record at No. 1 came in 2006, when Il Divo's Ancora topped the chart dated Feb. 11. 2006. Ancora contained music sung along with a monitor sung partly in English.

Ariana Grande's Sweetener slides 1-4 in its second week using 75,000 units (down 67 percent). The Puerto Rican singer's set bows with 49,000 units earned (with 7,000 of the amount in traditional album sales) -- easily the largest week of 2018 for a Latin album concerning units. Streaming activity fueled the album's debut frame, as it gained 40,000 in SEA units. That amount translates to 55.34 million on-demand audio streams for the record's songs in its opening week -- the most significant streaming week for a submerged record.
