A family member of mine posted/shared something that touched my heart, on a social media site. The post stated that there is a type of persecution that comes from people in these; what I consider, last days (end times in Bible Prophecy). The Holy Scriptures state that every human being born with exception of Jesus Christ, is guilty of every fault and sin that other men and women are guilty of. However there is a pious attitude amongst many people, despite this fact, stated by God himself.

Romans 3:23 - "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" KJV.

Those who bring those negative things the post listed, against people, are suffering from narcissism... but then again, they reverse that and say you are the narcissist. People are more cruel now, than I have ever seen in my 58 year lifetime. Biblically-speaking, God hates this behavior, constantly being perpetrated against others. One may also notice that people love to pretend that others (i.e., people they feel competitive toward or jealous of) have nothing important to say, even things that come from Christianity, the Faith they themselves profess.

I came to the conclusion sometime ago that such people need to simply be avoided. Love them of course but don't place yourself in their line of fire, keep your distance from them but don't rail against them. It's the only way to handle it and be pleasing to God and to keep yourself as spiritually-healthy as you can possibly be. We who try to live close to Jesus Christ will suffer persecutions but we must avoid those roots of bitterness. Otherwise, the gossiping persecutors win but what they win, may be a disappointing or even a terrible surprise to them.

Galatians 6:7 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap."

James 4:6 "“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

1 Peter 5:6-7 "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."

God loves His People!

Author's Bio:

I am a graduate of Liberty Southern Baptist University (1996) for completion of theological studies. I also believe in Pentecostal ways, which makes me a "Bapticostal" (see: "Bapticostal movement - Wikipedia"). Bible studies are one of my most-covered book-subjects. I am however, careful to only address those subjects I believe God has given me correct revelation on. I was a Christian Youth Minister, beginning in the 1980s for approximately 20 years (between youth ministries I served in other church capacities as well). I was also a guest speaker to churches, who invited me to present important Bible teachings to their evangelical congregations, during those same years. I am a redeemed man, who has received salvation by acceptance of Jesus Christ and what he did for me in shedding his blood and dying for me on the cross and in his resurrection from the dead, giving me the promise of eternal life, purely by grace (not due to anything I have done, other than to accept it freely).
