1.Position trading

Position trading is a long-term trading strategy. where you can hold trades for weeks or even months. In the position trading timeframes, you’ll trade on are usually the Daily or Weekly. As a position trader, you mainly rely on fundamental analysis in your trading (like NFP, GDP, Retail sales, and etc.) to give a bias. A long-term trader would typically look at the end of day charts.

2.Swing trading

Swing trading is a mid-term trading strategy, in this strategy, we can hold a trade for days or weeks. : you will be traded on a timeframe that is usually 1 hr or four hr .if you are a swing trader, your concern is to capture “a single move” in the market. So you’ll likely:
• Sell Resistance
• Trade pullbacks
• Buy Support
• Trade the bounce of moving an average
• Trade breakouts

3.Day trading

a short-term trading strategy is called Day trading, you can hold your trades for minutes or even hours. It is similar to swing trading. you will be traded on a timeframe that is usually 5min or 15 min. if you are a day trader, then you have to your concern is to capture the intraday volatility. It means that you should trade to the most impulsive session of yours. So, you’ll likely:
• Buy Support
• Sell Resistance
• Trade breakouts
• Trade pullbacks
• Trade the bounce of moving an average

4.Scalping

I don’t suggest scalping for the retail traders because the transaction cost will consume most of your profits. And you’re slower than the machines which put you at a major disadvantage.
It is a very short-term strategy, here you can hold your trades for minutes or even seconds.
As a scalper, you’re a concern with what the market is doing now and how you can take advantage of it.

5.Transition trading

“What is transition trading?”Well, the idea is to enter a trade on the lower timeframe, and if the market turns in your support, then you can increase your target profit or trail and can your stop loss on the higher timeframe.
