It seems that every person at these times has a cell phone. If you go to a mall, or a store, or at any public place, you'll see someone talking on his/her cell phone. Even those driving their vehicles are guilty of using their cell phones when they are behind the wheels. We are such garrulous people, and we are so fond of our cell phones.

I remember when mobile phones first came out. I had a friend back then, and the two of us had one each. Now outdated, the phones during that time were bulky. We carried the phones wherever we went and talked on them most of the time. Although, I'm kind of ashamed to tell you about it but we did often talked on the phones and at the same time drove our cars, for the simple reason of using it. We thought to ourselves that we were so in the fad! Well, look at the cell phone, now. Our cell phones today have improved a great deal from the once massive to now sleek and can even do almost anything, not including windows! Wherever I go, my cell phone goes with me. As a woman, it is dangerous to be on your own in the city these days that's when a cell phone comes very handy.

You simply cannot drive safely if you are driving with one hand on the wheel holding your cell phone with the other. It's a risk that is not even necessary and can be avoided. As what the researchers at the University of Utah learned, it is the same as drunk driving. Cell phone use impairs one's mind, hand, and eyes while on the road. We do not support cell phone use while on the wheels. There are states even that plan to prohibit the use of cell phones while driving, no exceptions. Driving with a cell phone, yes, you'll still see a lot of those in the days to come but don't be sure that it will last by the time a law will say it's illegal to do so. You have a choice though, a much better choice that is safe. You can be in your car driving with two hands on the steering wheel, you'll just put on a hand's free device on your phone. And as of July 1, 2008, California Senate Bill 1613 states that you must use a hands free device if you are talking on your cell phone while driving. It now made phone usage without a hand's free device unlawful when on the wheels.

This husband of mine is on his computer frequently and because he has a Blue Tooth Headset as well, he is already reaping the benefits from using it. When my husband is dealing with a client about problems with his/her computer, he can be able to assist him/her through the computer as well as use his Blue Tooth Headset device at the same time that could take long hours. Typing and at the same time handling your phone is not easy when there is no device to assist you on that. Even if it's placed in between the neck and shoulder, the neck will experience cramps. So a few years ago I bought him a Blue Tooth Headset, and he says he won't ever go without a hand's free device again.

If you use your neck and shoulders to hold your cell phone or phone next to your ear without using your hands, pressure is applied on the nerves of your neck. This results in pain in the arms, hands, neck and shoulders and often causes headaches. This issue will be resolved by using a device that doesn't require hands to use it and the Blue Tooth Headset is one example that gives comfort to the user. It's manageable and doesn't require cords, it even sounds great. Motorola sells hands free devices that is sure to meet your various needs, in different shapes and designs. It's speakerphone can even be attached on the visor of your car. A wireless headset is not even necessary and it is not against the law in the California state when you drive using this.

When on the road, always follow rules and regulations. Observe safety when driving and bring a hand's free device if talking on the phone can't be avoided.
