How Do You Know If You Are Under The Law Or Under Grace? You will find in the bible the book called Romans and in chapter six and verse fourteen it reads: "For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace".

When sin has power over you then you are under the law. When you are living a Godly life then you are under Grace.

Read Titus chapter two verses eleven and twelve. "For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age".

We as Christians grow in our relationship of Grace with Christ and our Heavenly Father. When we make a mistake as we grow God does not give us what we deserve but looks at the righteousness of Christ that is a free gift in our lives knowing that the price of all sins are paid by the sacrifice of Christ on the Cross. This is why it is called Grace.

We receive what we do not deserve no matter what our performance is. God's Love and blessings will always continue in our life. This is the whole purpose of Grace! We get love and blessings when you do wrong instead of punishment.

Think about it, if you could do everything right then we would not need Grace. Jesus Christ died on the Cross and took upon Himself all of our punishment so we could have His righteousness, goodness, love and blessings. After the death of Christ on the Cross, He was buried, resurrected and then ascended to the Father. This is the Gospel.

If you are living a life of bondage to sin that is a life of habitual sin then you are under the law and need to pray to God that He will lead you under Grace. As you hear the Word of God you will receive faith to come under Grace. If you are a Christian and struggle with a drinking problem or a sexual problem or a problem with anger or any other problem that this goes on practically everyday then you are probably under the law and in bondage to sin.

Relax because there is hope in Christ and He will lead you out under Grace. Do not look at life as a set of rules, live in a relationship with God. Religion is not good, just live out of your heart. God Loves you very much, talk with Him.

When you lose sight that your sins are forgiven then you will live under the law. When you really know that you are forgiven of all sins then you will live under Grace.

Read second Peter chapter three and verse eighteen. "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen".

If you would happen to slip up then just forget about it and move on. No need to confess it because it has been laid on Christ at the Cross. Your forgiveness started at the Cross. First John the first chapter was written to unbelievers. You confessed your sin when you first believed in Christ. Stay under Grace!
