Do you always feel like you're "trying" to be more or do more? Like you have to become something you're not in order to get what you want?

It is common to think that if you haven't created what you want in your life that something has to change.

But what if what has to change is not what you think? And what if what you are attempting to change is actually going to hinder you even more?

I see this fairly often. We're really taught that there is a "right" way of doing things, a "right" way of being.

So you end up trying to "get it right". And in the process, you often are being something that's not really you. And when you do this, you just end up feeling worse even if it does appear to give you what you wanted because you're doing things in a way that's not you.

I have learned the hard way that the only real deeply fulfilling way to not only live but to create what you want most in your life is to do it your way.

But perhaps you are like I was before and you don't quite get this. You think you just have to try harder, change this, be more of that AND THEN you will have what you want.

But this is very flawed thinking based in an impossible energy dynamic.

Let me explain this using an example of something I have experienced this week around this.

Things are really growing and changing here at Intuitions as you can see. I'm launching the new Fearless Faith and there are so many new projects on the go.

So I thought that, okay, I need to do things differently here now in order to create the best possible outcome. SO… what thought comes to my mind?

"I should wake up earlier." Now this also means, "I should go to sleep earlier".

Okay, so I "try" to do this.

And what happens?

Suddenly I need even MORE sleep than ever. I set my alarm and snooze it for an hour or even an hour and a half. I feel bad because I feel like I'm failing because I'm not doing what I think I "should" do to succeed in these changes.

In an effort to create something good, I created the opposite!

So here's what I learned. And I want you to get this too and see how you may be doing this because it's big.

In essence what I've done here is to say "I have to be different to succeed". Now, this may be true, but what was I trying to change to do this?

I was trying to change my natural way.

This little wake up earlier strategy may be the change needed for someone else. But it goes against what matters most to me. Freedom.

And just what did I hate most about being in my old 9 to 5 job?

Going to sleep early and having to wake up to an alarm clock. To me that was the total opposite of freedom.

Now here I go trying to make myself wake up earlier! Here I am trying to go against my now natural way and it's not working.

Think about it. If you are trying to be something that you're not, to do something in a way that goes against who you really are, you are in essence fighting against yourself. When you "should" yourself, the world "shoulds" you.

So...

You end up attracting more experiences that tell you that you need to be more than you are. Because deep down you believe this.

Here's the truth I want you to see. The Fearless Faith approach is to be authentic because it is the most natural, it requires the least effort because you are not struggling to be something that you're not. And we know that we really are MEANT to do it our way.

You are meant to live life your way. And when you fully give permission to live your life your way, the world will no longer fight back because you've stopped fighting.

When you ALLOW yourself to be you, to do it your way, that is true flow. Things can flow because you are not energetically restricting yourself.

I realized that rather than wake up early and go to sleep early which goes against my natural way, I can be more proactive. I can handle things ahead of time so there's no need to pressure myself. Yes, this is a new way of being but one that gives me freedom, which is very important to me.

So what's the solution for you? Think about what you can change that is still in alignment with you. Ask yourself what you are really wanting to feel and open to new ideas to help you achieve this in a way that does feel good and match who you really are.

There is a way to be authentic and to have what you want and I believe that in order to ever really get what we want, we must be authentic to get it.
