Aricept medicine is belong to the group of drugs called as cholinesterase inhibitors. This medication is used to treat symptoms in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease. 1) Do not use Aricept medicine if you are allergic to this medicine or to its ingredient.

People suffering from heart rhythm disorder, a history of stomach ulcers, an enlarged prostate or urination problems, epilepsy or other seizure disorder and asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease should not use Aricept medicine.
3) Pregnant and breastfeeding mother should not use this medicine without doctor recommendation as use of this medicine by pregnant and breastfeeding mother may harm the health of unborn baby or nursed child.
4) If you need to have any type of surgery, tell the surgeon ahead of time that you are taking Aricept.

Aricept is a prescription medicine used for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. For better result take this medicine as prescibed by the doctor. This medication should not be taken in larger amount as, take it for longer than recommended by your doctor. You need to inform your doctor if you need to have any type of surgery before taking Aricept medication. Take this medicine with a full glass of water with or without food or milk. Do not swallow the tablet whole. Allow it to dissolve in your mouth without chewing. Swallow several times as the tablet dissolves. After the tablet dissolves completely, drink a glass of water.

Aricept medicine also have common to serious side effect. Some serious side effect are black, bloody, tarry stools, coughing up blood or vomit, painful or difficult urination and seizure, if you observe any sign of above mentioned side effect you should immediately consult your doctor. Common side effect of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of appetite, muscle cramps, tired feeding and sleeping problem.
