Reorganizing the whole strategy of the company, to be oriented to the clients, is a task that takes a lot of time. It is important to give your clients the opportunity to evaluate your work. The main questions in this line of thought are ‘What benefit does the customer gain from choosing this company over another?’ and ‘How can the value of each client be increased?’ Answering these questions is the aim of a CRM system and in order to do it, it has four main tasks:
1. Identification – in case your company keeps all the information about each client in a well-organized profile, then it becomes easy to build a profile of each customer and increase his/her value.
2. Differentiation – every client is important enough for the company to receive personalized treatment according to their needs.
3. Interaction – a CRM system ensures the long-term profit from a client. In order to do that it needs to have all possible information about changes in social status, family status and so on. This way it will be easier to identify preferences and needs.
4. Personalization – each client is unique and should be serviced according to that. A good example of this can be found in the speech of the administrative director of a leading global Internet shop: “Once we have 20 million customers, we must have 20 million stores for them.” As impossible as this may sound, nowadays IT technologies have enabled us to create e-stores for each client.

Traditional marketing that is aimed to attract the average person does not require any special tools because you do not need to differentiate, personalize or identify your clients. However, having a customer-oriented strategy requires the use of sophisticated information technologies. A CRM system does not require you to have previously installed any kind of other business software. However, if you do not change your strategy to be oriented to the customers, implementing a CRM system will lead to no positive results.

It is only natural that you should ask what you would get in return for implementing a CRM solution in your business. A CRM system asks for a big investment with no return in the short term and it is possible to have no return of money in the long term either. To ensure the success of your project you must keep a close eye on it and analyze the work of each member of the staff in your company.

Moreover, the price of a CRM system is affected by the type of company you have and how big it is, what requirement you have for the system and how easy for use you want it to be. There are many criteria that should be kept in mind but if you manage to deal with them, you will not be disappointed.
