Serving Your Country
Most people believe you must be in the military or be voted in to serve a community, state, or country. Such as a Mayor, Congressman, or Judge someone that the people approve to be a servant of the people.
We serve our families, neighborhood's, communities on up, in a variety of ways. Keeping your grass cut and maintaining your home or property is serving the neighborhood. Helping with volunteer work for a church, school, daycare center, or picking up trash once a week is serving a neighborhood or community. Being a watchful eye in the community for illegal or negative behavior is serving the community ,the state, and the country.
There are so many ways we contribute to our neighborhoods and communities and in turn you are actually serving your country and the world. It is the little things that the people do that makes all the difference on earth.
One of the biggest wars we struggle with is the war that is developed in the young minds of our children. We contribute to drug addiction and we the world, need to be aware of what to do and what not to do. We must recognize and raise our awareness to this drug and alcohol problem that touches every human being on this earth.
It is not only the addicts and their families, friends, and victims that are effected it effects the world as a whole. We have not changed our defense against this demon. Sure there have been some great discoveries to help in the fight against drug and alcohol addiction. They come up with all these ideas, medicines, preventive care, great ways to help one detox, and aftercare programs. The government tries to stop all the imports of these illegal drugs coming into their countries.
We have to build more prisons, because of the rise in drug abuse and crime rises with it. We build more treatment centers to try to help these addicts turn their lives around. We change laws to keep certain products from being easily accessible. I could go on and on. It is not getting better it is getting worse.
Do you love your country? Do you love your people? Do you love your family? Whatever you love and whatever you care about will be tougher to hold on to, it will become more expensive, laws will change to make things that were once convenient into something more costly and more paper work to obtain it.
Why do I think slowing down this epidemic that is freely moving along will change our lives? It's simple this world would save trillions upon trillions of dollars. It would free up mega tons of energy that is solely focused on drug and alcohol addiction. All this energy and money could go to another cause or causes the world needs so badly.
How are we the people going to do this? I mentioned it above,"it is the little things that the people do that make all the difference on earth".
The children need to know that drugs and alcohol abuse destroys all their goals, dreams, and wishes. That saying no and having a full understanding of why they are saying no is one of the best ways they can contribute to their selves, their families, friends, neighbors, communities, state, and country.
For one child to understand that no to drugs or alcohol has the power to help this world heal from the severe wound of drug and alcohol addiction, is one giant step forward. This is an open and bleeding wound that only the people can heal. Healing the world's wound of drug and alcohol addiction one child at a time.
Hi,
My name is Tim. I am creating a site called, http://www.heroin-disabled-by-choice.com
Please visit to find out more about me and my idea's on helping to make a difference for each and everyone of us. It is about driving the facts and preparing the children for this likely choice in their future's. Telling them it is wrong and dangerous is so often not enough. We have to teach them all the angles of this beast and how it hunts its prey. So when they do say no to drugs and alcohol with a fact based concrete answer it may help open the eye's of their peers to do the same.
