A Tsunami of Growth

I just finished a very powerful healing session with one of my teachers, Michael Tamura, in which we offered the planet a special healing. There were so many things that we looked at: the energy of the world, the specific places that have been physically impacted, the impacts on the entire planet energetically, and the chaos and flux that everyone is in as a result, because the impact isn't limited in any way to the specific areas of the world that are in chaos. The energetic waves are rippling through every nook and cranny of the planet and all of us are impacted. If you've been feeling emotionally, mentally or physically "off," this is probably why.

The amazing thing about this planetary growth in particular is that it is offering, in many ways, the opportunity of a lifetime in terms of personal healing. We all get the chance to take enormous steps in our own personal transitions. In particular, we are all offered the opportunity to release our own resistance -- to the things life is dishing out on a micro level and even things that haven't been working in life for a very long time.

It is a tsunami or change on macro levels, with the energetic waves passing around the planet, and there is a tsunami of growth that is being offered within each and every one of us. It's relatively painless when we step out of resistance and judgment or wanting things to be different. When we allow for the waves of change without resisting them, they pass through and carry out the inner garbage we've been clinging to without even knowing or wanting to, and healing ensues. When we resist, our bodies can feel the effect, and it's not very pleasant.

It's kind of like standing at the ocean's edge, knee deep -- if we try to fight a big wave that passes through, or if we stand fearfully hoping we don't get knocked down, that's usually what ends up happening, and it can be messy. I remember once being knocked over and washing up on the beach not knowing which way was up, full of sand and feeling absolutely ridiculous. It's like that. Or, we can stand firm but flexible, energetically and spiritually grounded and allow the wave to come on by. Or we can dive into it and come out the other side feeling overjoyed with the experience. Spiritual growth is no different.
