Even in flush do not use it as a bin for disposing paper, hair, cotton ball, hair, cosmetics, baby wipes, bandages etc. They are supposed to be tossed in the trash bin. But when dumped in the toilet gets stuck in the passage leading to a clog.

Plunger:

This is the best tool to clean the clogged drain and it can be used anywhere. It is the most simple to use tool and the most powerful option for cleaning.

Hot water:

If the plunger helps to some extent then the hot water can be the next step for te rescue process. This can help to remove the oil or grease clogs and even some clogs from the flush as well.

Natural chemicals:

Try a vinegar and hot water solution for the cleaning process. Even the soda and water solution can be a good and natural option for unclogging.

Plumber snake:

The plumbing snake can be used if the above steps doesn’t seems to be a good option. This is easily available with all the plumbers.

And now the don’t’s

Do not use acid for the cleaning. This may look as the most convenient option, but not all pipes can withhold the chemical reaction and can vanish leading to worse situations. Even they also ruins the porcelain of the sink toilet bowls.

Do not use chemical before plunger. It may lead to spill or splash if the same which may harm you.

Do not flush diapers, hair, dental floss, coffee grounds, pet litter, and other non-disposable items down the flush.

Do not pour oil down a drain.
