What if the hour of sleep could enjoy its exclusivity and enable the course of the original game plan play its symphony… the sleep hour should then become as an hour of becoming… becoming of what we want to be… moving the way nature envisaged for us; live, loaded with energy, defying all impediments with ease and joyous moods… Well synchronized and in absolute control… believe me life should have been different. The proper learning about experiencing the real deep sleep can only happen through a different platform of teaching involving textual material, video and some interaction. We shall make a provision of the same at desire2will.com in some period from now… but in any case preliminary knowledge must be shared so that a preparation at the end of learner finds some ground.
According to the ‘ancient wisdom’ great seers had established it during those unknown times that there are four states under which the human awareness prevails… they assigned them names in absolute consonance with the function of those states… the names were…
1. Jagrit. The state of waking.
2. Supti. The dreaming state.
3. Susupti. The dreamless state.
4. Turiya. The state beyond all the other three states.
When you sight the above Four the first three are quite easy to understand as we can comprehend about them easily and have also experienced them in our lives whereas the fourth one i.e. ‘Turiya’ is concerned we bear no experience… that is the state with Yogis when they cross all gravitational barriers that hold their awareness with this mortal world.
Our learning here is confined with the Third state which has been addressed here as ‘Susupti’; the dreamless state. This is a state where all the three states of awareness namely… conscious, subconscious and the unconscious stand in one line and a perfect alignment leads to an excellent synchronicity. Even few hours of such sleep equates long hours of imperfect sleep ridden with continual flow of dreams etc. During the hour of dream less sleep the conscious part of our awareness stalls its activities and almost confines itself to a halt. On the other hand the subconscious part of the awareness gathers absolute playfield to dispense with its necessary obligation. It clears the mental plane of the entire clutter gathered during the day, it has to organize the passage between the peripheral level and back end level of one’s awareness… several conflicts, dichotomies, dissent, aggression, craving, yearning, stresses, anxieties etc… all these heightened emotional tides create turbulent state within therefore it is mandatory that all these running software that are not required any more during the hour of sleep disturb the genuine working of the subconscious part of our awareness.
Apart, the unconscious part of one’s awareness that is an installation to communicate/reciprocate with the cosmic awareness… traces its opportunity to act in capacity of an intermediary between the cosmic awareness and the subconscious awareness of the being. Several unanswered question that loom upon any being can find their most appropriate resolve through the interaction with the cosmic awareness… Moreover even if such interactivity happens and the subconscious part of awareness is not afforded with adequate opportunity to play at ease then any message/resolve from the cosmic awareness shall neither percolate down nor register itself into the human notice for its due incorporation in one’s life.
Those who are somehow blessed to experience the dreamless sleep are the ones that enjoy the bliss of nature… with them it can be said that an additional patch of some advance software has been clubbed with their original ‘Operating system software’. It is not difficult to find such people… one can easily trace them within one’s own circle… It is a different aspect that all those people who enjoy the bliss of a ‘dreamless sleep state’ may not be aware of the privilege they are blessed with…
People who by their inherent nature continue to enjoy the dreamless sleep state each day by any chance if learn few techniques of ancient wisdom; they can advance within the dimension of their awareness at a fairly fast speed and cover a great length within one single life.
Coming back to our basic subject of teaching all about the manner through which we can daily experience the dreamless sleep state… Although the actual training mandates for an altogether different format but as it was mentioned right at the outset of this article that meanwhile some preliminary preparation should be undertaken so that the entire existence (the incumbent of learning) is formatted well to receive the actual learning and experience the sought state of dream less sleep.
You may dislike these few points beneath mentioned as a preliminary preparation before one can go ahead with further learning. Even if you unwelcome the suggestion beneath; your gesture are welcome but with a rider that the earth did not come to us the way we surf seamlessly on our cosmopolitan roads or freeways…
1. The dinner must be eliminated with proper alternates.
(dietician shall suggest it better, dinner must go)
2. The difference between sleep and any activity of entertainment (we confine it to television) should be more than one and a half hour.
3. Last minutes before the sleep preferably should be spent in praying or reading good books.
4. Never drop yourself to sleep; the mind frame should be that with all conscious effort I am now going to experience sleep.
These four points shall need some additional counselling and preparation before one can consider self as prepared for the further training because the habitual brain shall contest with all of its possible might to thwart any new imposition upon its regular interests.
