Almost everyone wants to lose weight, look better, feel better, have more energy, feel happiness and joy and just plain and simply have more fun and enjoy life. However, very few people either have the knowledge of how to do it, will listen to any advice, or if they do have good intentions their actions don't always catch up with those intentions. They simply have a hard time with change when it comes to lifestyle choices and food choices. After all, isn't that why most diets fail? Do this, don't do that, eat more of this, eat less of that. It becomes overwhelming and eventually you quit. It's the same concept as people that want to be rich but aren't willing to make the sacrifices necessary to make the money and keep it in your life.

Whenever I come across people who are not open to taking the appropriate measures to dramatically increase their health I have to step back. They are often brainwashed by false beliefs and programming from their parents, from advertising and marketing on TV, fancy labels and packaging, from articles put out by companies trying to make their products look better than what they are, etc, etc. After all isn't wheat good for me? Isn't milk good for me? Mosy people never even researched better choices or whether something truly is good for you. They simply "heard" it was.

There are so many better choices in food than what the average person currently consumes. There are better grains, better fruits and vegetables, better snacks, better fats, and better proteins. Unless the common person seeks out this information they are doomed to what is offered in local supermarkets. I personally cannot find more than 10 items to put in my cart in a typical supermarket that carries more than 50,000 items. Why is this? One reason is because the majority of food is not Organic so it is therefore subject to things like pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, hormones, genetic modification, antibiotics, factory processing, preservatives, processed sweeteners, etc.

I understand that everyone is not going to be able to afford a 7 day a week organic diet and everyone is not going to be able to spend countless hours educating themselves in health and wellness. Even health professionals have a hard time keeping up with what is the latest good food, bad food or super herb, or new anti-aging product. So what can we do to begin to stack the odds in our favor as we slowly move towards better health in a way that works for us? Maybe we can eat one organic meal a week or read one article a week on what is going on in the health industry. The key is moving in the right direction not a direction that leaves to self-destruction. What I am going to suggest is probably one of the biggest steps that someone could take to improve their health for the better and that is to start reading labels and stop putting certain substances into your body that make it so much harder to lose weight and to absorb nutrients and to begin to change the tide from bad health to good health.

The first ingredient you absolutely want to check your cabinets for and eliminate as well as avoid buying in the future is partially hydrogenated oils (All forms such as soybean, canola, cottonseed, palm oil, etc). That one ingredient is the single ingredient in my research most closely tied to heart disease. Hydrogenated oils are basically as close to a plastic as you are going to get. It is added to foods to extend the life of the food and for taste. These oils can cause liver and gall bladder disease, they can cause low birth weights and numerous other problems in kids. The fact is we have been lied to by the labels on foods simply because we are not ever told the truth.

The second ingredient is High Fructose Corn Syrup. Combine this with the hydrogenated oils and you have one of the most dangerous combinations that you could put in your body. It's your body and the next time you say Hmmmm Good to some cookies from the middle aisle of a grocery store all I can say is look at the label. It may taste good from the mouth to the back of the throat but the other 99 percent of you body is begging for you to stop poisoning it. The average American consumed 39 pounds of High Fructose Corn Syrup in 1980 and 62.6 pounds in 2001. It is being linked as one of the major contributors to obesity in America. Hmmmmm Good.

The third ingredient I want to mention is Aspartame and other artificial sweeteners such as sucralose. Aspartame affects the brain and makes you crave carbohydrates. Mpst soda beverages that are called Diet contain these ingredients. There have been numerous reports on the dangers of these sweeteners and somehow they have been kept in 1000's of products and people are getting fatter and fatter eating so these called "Diet" products.

You are what you don't eat is as powerful as you are what you eat. By simply getting rid of these ingredients you will notice that many of the dangerous weight causing foods that you eat will be eliminated from your diet and you will begin to look for better choices. It is when you make this transformation that you begin to push out the old toxins from your system and your body starts to crave better foods. You will then begin to see the positive transformations that are possible from Xtreme health™.

You can take this to any level you want.

Level A - Xtreme Health™

Eliminate all hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup and sweeteners Level B - Much better than most people If you do not want to eliminate these foods then try to eat raw fruits and vegetables along side these foods. The enzymes and fiber in the raw foods will help the process of eliminating them from the body.

Level C - A step above what you're doing now

Check the snacks that you eat. Eat organic snacks such as Organic cookies

Have the most Awesome day Ever.
