Ritalin is a very dangerous and highly addictive drug. Under Federal law, it is classified as a "schedule II controlled substance," the same rating given to cocaine, opium and morphine.[1] Did you know...

* 7 million Americans today (mainly children) are diagnosed with ADHD[2]
* Drug Companies spend $259 million dollars each year persuading parents to put their children on Adderall and other amphetamines[3]
* The Revenue from ADHD drugs was over $2.5 Billion in 2004[4]
* USA consumes 90% of the world’s Ritalin
* Ritalin and Adderall are weak versions of cocaine and are highly addictive[5]
* Ritalin and Adderall users are three times more likely to develop adult use of cocaine[5]
* March 1, 2005 - Research indicates that children taking Ritalin have an increased risk of cancer as all 12 children included in a study experienced an increase in chromosome abnormalities three months after starting Ritalin[6]
* FDA reports 186 die from using Ritalin5
* At most FDA reports up to 10% of the actual incidences[7]
* Adderall XR was pulled off the market in Canada after 20 sudden deaths and 12 strokes. Children comprised fourteen of the deaths and two of the strokes[8]
* RitalinDeath.com is created in memory of children that have died from the use of drugs used to treat ADD and ADHD and the many families that are left behind to suffer with no accountability[8]

The three common themes of ADHD include impulsiveness, distractibility, and hyperactivity. Other key features are emotional changes, poor coordination, short attention span, poor organizing, and specific leaning disabilities.
There are no definitive tests for the condition, with dozens of completely different childhood problems lumped together under this “convenient” heading. For many children the real nature of the condition is toxic brain syndrome, induced by overwhelming environmental and dietary toxins, food additives, drugs and vaccinations, coupled with poor nutrition.
The milder side effects of the two common ADHD prescription drugs, Ritalin and Adderall, include loss of several inches in height, poor appetite, insomnia, tics and personality changes. – Hardly a cure! Additionally, Ritalin and cocaine look and act the same. Both have a similar chemical structure, and both increase dopamine levels in the brain. Nora Volkow, director of nuclear medicine at the Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton, N.Y., looked into where and how quickly Ritalin acts in the human brain: “We've given it to cocaine users, and they say it's almost indistinguishable.‘’ The only significant difference was that Ritalin took over four times as long to leave the body. And the difference between Ritalin and Adderall is that Adderall has a stronger effect and a longer acting period! Clinical experience suggests that chronic use of Adderall can lead to sudden death or stroke. Withdrawal symptoms from these drugs can be severe and include depression, fatigue, paranoia, increased dreaming, irritability, bedwetting and suicide.[1]
The first tenet of Hippocrates, the father of medicine, was “Above all, do no harm.” Homeopathy offers the possibility of real cure without toxic, suppressive medication. Rather than suppressing the symptoms of restlessness, difficulty in focusing, and lack of behavioral control, Homeopathy gets to the root cause of the problem and works to bring the system into a state of balance. Homeopathy’s approach is individualized to each child by his/her unique qualities and conditions such as genetic predisposition, anxiety, depression, fear, grief, low self-esteem and anger, rather than labeling the child with one general diagnosis. Can all hyperactive children be lumped together under one diagnostic category? Can a child, who lashes out in a violent manner at his family members and peers, fit into the same diagnostic group as a sweet gregarious one who simply cannot pay attention to the work in the class? In homoeopathy both temperaments are as different as day and night and the two individuals will require very different medicines. Individualization stands as a key point in homeopathic treatment. A homeopath spends lots of time understanding the thinking and feeling of the child.
You should also know that it is possible to take Homeopathy along with the prescription drugs as the Homeopathic remedies will not interfere. Because of the complexity and many layers of the cause of ADHD and the side effects of the prescription drugs, the cure process may take a bit longer and will require patience. Nonetheless, it presents a future free from toxic and addictive prescription drugs that often lead to early death.
