Gratitude.
Whatever you are waiting for--peace of mind,
contentment, grace, the inner awareness
of Simple Abundance— it will surely come,
but only when you are ready to receive
it with an open and grateful heart.

Dear Friends,

May I suggest you keep a Gratitude ...Gratitude.

Dear Friends,

May I suggest you keep a Gratitude Journal.....it helps lift the soul and brings much joy & happiness into your life.
When you are grateful for all the wonderful things in your life … more and more magical things appear ….and life becomes wonderful and magical.

Writing in a Gratitude Journal helps you learn to think more positively … it helps you to really appreciate the small pleasures of life, to appreciate the chores/projects you have actually done or completed and not dwell on all the things you have not completed.

It is an excellent tool in helping overcome mild depression, sadness and even low self esteem!

A Gratitude Journal can lift away depression and enhance your creativity!

Buy a beautiful book / journal or just an exercise book from the local stationers and cover it with your favourite flowers, horses, dogs, or whatever makes your heart sing … get yourself a beautiful pen with coloured ink.

Each evening just before going to bed, write in this Journal a list of 5 things you are grateful for that day.
You will find, as you begin your Gratitude Journal, you cannot think of anything to be grateful for !!!??
As you ponder on the day, you then you realize all the wonderful things in your life … the flower outside your window, a child’s laughter, that beautiful tree on your way to work, hearing beautiful music on your radio, toes on your feet allowing you to walk, a hot shower, food on your table… the list will go on and on.

To speak gratitude is courteous and pleasant,
to enact gratitude is generous and noble,
but to live gratitude is to touch Heaven."
~ Johannes A. Gaertner ~

On “good days” you will begin to find it easier and easier, but on days when you are feeling Down and depressed it is more difficult … but still you must fill in 5 things you are
grateful for!

The point of the Journal is to teach you to LOOK for things to be grateful for .. even on bad days.

On bad days, all you may be able to write down is… I am breathing! I had a cup of warm tea! That’s ok … it will get easier and easier as you become more and more grateful for all the wonderful things in your life.

Everything in your Journal MUST be POSITIVE!

You can be very creative with your Journal adding pictures of pretty flowers, butterflies, your favourite animal … glitter or be creative with your own drawings and designs.

Please share with us what the cover of your Journal looks like ….

Is it covered in Horses or flowers or blue with glitter all over it …..

Please share any quotes on gratitude you may find.

And please let us know what you are grateful for!

With love and blessings Carolyn
