Do you want to feel better?

Some are saying, I feel fine.

OK. Great.

If that’s true, wonderful.

Humans are expert suppressers. You found out at a very young age that you had a lot of feelings you didn’t like and you didn’t know what to do about them. You didn’t like them, you knew that much. You would express and people would say, don’t cry, don’t pout, don’t feel bad. Or, whatever it was they told you. You found out it isn’t acceptable to express those feelings. You found out you could get along better if you suppressed negative feelings.

So, right now when someone says, do you want to feel better, you say, I feel fine.
Not everyone, of course. There’s the trouble and problems crowd. For them, if you ask them how they’re doing they’ll bend your ear for as long as you can stand it, listing out all their troubles and problems.

Whether an expresser of misery or a suppresser of misery, most are miserable and suffering. You can use affirmations, you can think good thoughts and all the other things you were taught to do to feel better but, when you get right down to it, you’re not happy or you’re not as happy as you could be. Most are living in misery, in dis-ease.

In the Release Technique you learn to open up to all those suppressed feelings, to get them into your awareness so you can see them and release them. You learn that you’re living moment to moment listening to your subconscious mind. You can see what’s in your conscious mind. You can put all those affirmations and positive thoughts in your conscious mind, but until you dig into your subconscious mind, you have no idea what’s running your life all the time.

When you dig into your subconscious mind you find a lot of negative feelings. You see what’s been going on in your life. You see the negative feelings that have been running you, running your life.

Most of your negativity, your misery and suffering comes from desire, from wanting. When you want something you’re saying you lack the thing or person. Want equals lack. If you have something, you don’t want it. It’s when you’re living in wanting that you don’t have and are in pain about it. It’s impossible to want and have at the same time just like it’s impossible to stand up and sit down at the same time. They’re opposite energies, wanting and having.

When you want something you live in frustration of not having it. The more you want the more frustrated you feel. You want this to be different, you want that to be different. You want this person or thing. You want it to be cool when it’s warm and warm when it’s cool. You want it to rain. You want it to stop raining. In the Release Technique you find out your mind is never satisfied. Even when you get something you’ve wanted and have been stressed out about for not having it, the euphoria doesn’t last and you’re back into wanting. Your mind is never satisfied. You learn by paying attention to what’s happening ---in the Release Technique it’s called discriminating, seeing what’s going on---you learn that desire leads to more desire. Rather than satisfying a desire and being happy, satisfying a desire only strengthens the desire for more and more. Your mind is never satisfied.
Wanting, desiring, makes you angry. You’re mad you can’t have whatever you want. Why not, they can have it. Why can’t I seem to be able to get it? Of course, that’s comparing. That’s comparing yourself to others, or to your own idea of how things should be. Here I am X years old and I thought I would be further along in life than I am. All of that causes frustration, anger, and fear that you’ll never be able to “get it.” And, it causes you to get more negative and more miserable.

When you’re into wanting, you’re into beating yourself up and feeling guilty. You went to school (or didn’t), you worked hard ( or didn’t), you did all the “right” things (according to somebody’s idea of “right’ things) or you didn’t. You are “shoulding” all over yourself. You are shoulda, coulda, would-ing all over yourself. You feel guilt, you feel anger, you feel negative.

Wanting is telling the universe you do not have. Wanting brings about misery and suffering.

But you “keep a stiff upper lip.” You suppress your feelings. As you’re beginning to see, if you haven’t already, there are a lot of feelings you’ve suppressed, the whole range, of negative feelings.
Think how many wants, how much wanting you have. You can catch a glimpse of how many suppressed feelings you have accumulated. Suppressed feelings are like trying to drive your car at night with dark sunglasses on. Everything you see, everyone you talk to, everything you’re doing all day long, you’re looking at everything through those accumulated negative feelings. Is it any wonder you’re not as happy as you should be---or as miserable as you are and don’t like admitting? Is it any wonder you have stress, which is a word to describe what we’ve been talking about, suppressed feelings pushing up 24/7?
Those feelings are pushing up. Stress is negative feelings pushing up. You don’t know what to do with those negative feelings so you push them down using your positive energy. You use all or a great part of your positive energy holding down these negative feelings because you don’t like them and you’ve never known anything else to do with them except suppress them, push them out of sight into your subconscious mind.

It isn’t hard to see why people get sick, is it? Dis-ease. That’s what it is. Suppressing is causing dis-ease. These feelings are going to come out somewhere, they are not supposed to be stuck in your body and they want out.
The answer is releasing. The answer is the Release Technique tools. The Release Technique gives you tools to access all that negativity in your subconscious mind, get it up into your awareness and get it out.

No one needs to suffer, no one needs to be miserable. When you learn to release, you free up the positive energy that has been holding down all that negative energy. When you learn to release and let go of wanting you move into having. Releasing is un-suppressing. You begin to get all of this negativity out of your subconscious mind. You begin to let go of your wanting and you turn more and more positive. As you turn more and more positive, more and more positive starts appearing in your life. It seems like magic, it seems like you’ve found a genie.

It’s not magic and it’s not a genie, it is very simple. You have let go of the negative, suppressed feelings and you have begun to live the life you were always meant to live. The Release Technique unleashes the positive person that you naturally are covered up by all that negativity. Go to www.releasetechnique.com today. Living in the Now is a must if you’re going to be happy. For one thing, Now is all you ever have. Now is where life is happening. If you’re somewhere other than Now, you’re missing out on life.

You’re conditioned to live in the past and the future. You miss out on life because you never spend time in the Now, in the present. You’re spending your time in the past, reviewing how you would have a better life if only you had done this or that. You live in regret. Many people spend time pining over the past, reviewing in their mind the “good old days.” How can I get back to the good old days? How can I get back to the time when I was happy? How can I get back to the time when my life worked? Nostalgia is living in the past.
Or, you’re in a dream about the future. When I finally get my life straightened out, I’ll be able to be happy. When I finally get the money I need, I’ll be happy. When I get out of debt, I’ll be happy. When I finally meet Mr. or Ms. Right, I’ll be happy. When I get this or that fixed in my life I’ll be happy. When my ship comes in, I’ll be happy.
You spend a lot of time thinking about upcoming events. You think you need to have something “to look forward to.” You lament the present, the Now saying, “I don’t have anything to look forward to.” Or, “ I ‘m only happy because I’m looking forward to my vacation.” “I’m happy because I’m looking forward to the time when all of this can be put behind me.”

All of this thinking about the past and future is stealing your life. You do not have the past and you do not have the future. You only have Now, right Now. The present moment is all you ever have. You miss out on the present moment by living in the past and the future.

When you’re going over the past in your mind, thinking about it, you’re unhappy. You’re either regretting the past, pining over the “good old days,” or you’re comparing and saying your present is not nearly as good as your past. When you’re spending your Now in the future you’re not satisfied with Now and you think some future Now will be happier.

Right Now is all you ever have. If you’re awake when Now is happening, you see Now is always New. Now is when you can be alive when you can live. Now is where all life is happening. If you miss out on Now, because you’re spending time in the dead past or you’re living in imaginations about the future, you’re robbing yourself of happiness.

Thinking is the culprit which steals the Now.

Thinking is the noisemaker playing in your mind all the time. Thinking keeps you distracted 24/7 because it blocks out the present, the Now. Thinking is running all the time in the background and usually in the foreground of your life. You miss life because you spend it thinking, thinking, thinking. Somewhere along the line you got the impression you need to think. If you examine thinking, thoughts, you’ll see they’re negative. They’re negative because the more thoughts you have the less happy you are, the more confused you are, the more miserable you are, the more anxious and nervous you are. Thoughts take you out of the Now.

Someone is talking to you. You miss what they said because you’re not present, you’re not in the Now. You’re thinking. It’s called being in lala land. Someone says something, you cease being in the Now, you go into your mind, which is all about the past, information stored from the past. You compare what’s been said with what’s in your mind, missing out on the present, the Now. You didn’t hear what they said because you weren’t there.

How often have you caught a glimpse of something beautiful and you look back to see it and it’s gone? You missed it because you were not in the Now. That’s how you’re living your life. You’re missing it because you’re not present. You’re not in the Now. You’re in your mind thinking about the past or future. You miss out on Now. How much of your life do you miss because you’re stuck in your mind thinking about something that’s gone or something ahead?

To live in the Now, begin to let go of your thoughts, to let go of thinking. You live in a world which believes thinking rules. You think you must use your mind so you can be happy. You must figure this all out. You must think your way through this. You want to know. You think you must use your mind and get to the bottom of this or that. Step back and take a look, you’ll see, all thinking does is make you sick and miserable and lacking. All your thinking does is steal your life. Seldom does your thinking say anything positive to you. You live with this thick curtain of thoughts which steal your life and keep you out of the Now.

Your thinking, your thoughts, are bandits stealing away your life.

The Release Technique is about letting go of the past, the past thoughts you put in your mind a long time ago. The Release Technique is about letting go of thinking which is stealing your life, stealing your Now. The Release Technique is about being in the Now and allowing your real, natural self to run your life. The Release Technique is letting go of the accumulation of distracting, disturbing thoughts which block your intuitive, all knowing self. The Release Technique is letting go of negativity and living in the Now where you’re not weighed down by past or present thinking, thinking, thinking. The Release Technique is letting go of thinking and living in the present, the Now, where you’re not bothered by anyone or anything and you can be happy all the time.
