An entertainer since hosting his first radio show at age 15 as "Yo Pal Hal" and a record-breaking sales rep at 19, Hal's real triumph would come in the face of tragedy before he reached 21 when he was hit head on by a drunk driver and found Dead at the scene...
Six
minutes later, Hal was brought back to life. Six days later he woke
from a coma to face what would be a devastating reality for most: He
had suffered 13 broken bones, multiple compound fractures, permanent brain damage and would never walk again.
Despite the prognosis of doctors and the seemingly insurmountable mental, physical, and emotional challenges
that he was faced with, Hal defied the odds and managed to create a
truly miraculous recovery! He took his first step in just 3 weeks and
was released from the hospital into his parent's care in under 2 months.
