Getting Started With Mark Holmgren

Change. We love it and we hate it. We need it but often avoid it, if not work against it.

Still, we all know that every succcess at work, in our lives, with our families has always involved change.

Change. It's about people
The truth about making change is that it is all about people. People changing themselves and working together to help change one another.

Likely you have heard someone say that the capacity of an organization to be successful depends on synergies among People, Process, and Technology.

It's true, but the latter two are dependent on the first: People.

Organizations don't change
People do. People change systems, introduce innovations, stop doing old stuff, take on new ventures (and the risk of them), form better policies, improve quality, and find ways to go faster while managing costs.

People do that.

And if they do that well, they create a culture and a climate that primes your organization for success.
